We explored the Icelandic car rental market to understand how travelers choose, compare, and book vehicles — and what makes a brand feel reliable.
Our focus was on user needs, booking simplicity, and digital trust — across both local competitors and global platforms.
We also advised the owners on how to position their offer in a way that feels more personal, clear, and helpful — giving them an edge when launching next to larger, impersonal companies.
Our task was to create a minimalist and highly functional website that feels light, trustworthy, and easy to navigate.
The design supports a seamless booking experience while leaving space for future integrations like fleet expansion or multilingual support.
Every element — from layout to wording — was built with clarity and long-term scalability in mind.
The site was built in Framer — allowing us to combine high visual quality with speed, responsiveness, and smooth editing.
We focused on clean performance, simple page structure, and fast load times, especially for mobile users.
The entire design was created from scratch by our team — with no ready-made templates. Visual direction, layout, and details were all crafted by Viktoria to reflect the brand’s unique identity.
The system was designed to be easily updated and expanded — so the owners can grow their offer without rebuilding from scratch.
The concept behind Iceland to Go was simple: make renting a car in Iceland feel effortless, personal, and trustworthy — even in a competitive market.
We wanted to avoid the cold, corporate look of big rental platforms and instead create something warm, minimal, and clear.
Everything — from the name to the structure — was shaped around the idea of ease, local connection, and future flexibility.
